Victoria Ark  born in 1964, in Moscow. 

Victoria is an contemporary artist representing the artistic talent in third generation. She discovered her artistic calling at an early age inheriting the family genes. Later on she has been graduated in Textile Design & Applied Arts and finished a contemporary art course of  School of Abstract Art of the Union of Abstractionists of  Russia.

Victoria took up painting as a full-time profession in 2020, and at the same time came to contemporary art while created her first abstract work by synthesizing the acquired academic knowledge with the studied tools of contemporary art.

Her method appeared from experimentations with a combination of photographic image of the "caught" moment and her abstract vision. Victoria formed her own personal method which is based on photographic imprint of objects, places, textures, which canvas and structure  transferred into the canvas, and intuitively filled with fantasy images reflecting the artist's lived in experience. Victoria continues to work with it up to this day.​
